I have a cable in my car. It looks like a via cable but it has a slot instead of pins. I have a 2006 Honda Civic. Does anyone know? I know it's not for the on board computer because that s under the steering wheel. Looks like it was put in the arm rest after purchase… Does anyone know?
For the past two days my car has been giving me some tourble when starting… It sort of does this chug chug chug before it starts and onces its started it keeps chugging for a couple of seconds even stops at times… So i checked under the hood (i'm no car wiz… I only know how to check the very basics) and noticed the oil level was below the bottom dot… Could this be my problem? I have a 99 Honda Civic (is 5w-30 oil ok?)

My car has been overheating lately. There are no leaks and I noticed the fans don't turn on when the car overheats which I found to be the problem. The fans do work however when I turn on the AC, hot or cold, which lead me to believe my fans were perfectly fine.
What can be wrong I sure hope it's not the fan itself. A mechanic told me to buy the sensor and that it's the problem, but I want some other opinions. I heard it can also be the Fuse or relay. What does it sound like to you guys?
So as of now, I'm 17, and getting a car in two months. I've been looking at cars for a year and a half now, and have decided I want a Honda CRZ badly. The only things holding my parents back is that its a bit small.(safety) I get that i should start with a standard civic or wha but i just want something unique, not just another standard car. Also, insurance. I've read everywhere that itll be either high or low. High because its a newer car, plus its a two door car. Low because its part hybrid,(I'm not sure if insurance companies consider it a hybrid) and low because well, it has two seats only. (Less seats means less teens driving with you.) its a pretty underpowered car, only 130 hp. But i've read too many blogs and articles and opinions to know what is right any more. I don't care if its fast or whatever, i just love the mileage, and the interior, and the look, and somewhat decent practicality. Any advice? Is it a good first car?
Btw i'm a male, and live in Georgia. Id be getting a blue or silver 2011 Crz.(They say red costs more on insurance)

Help i live in a area where the robbed alot of cars i wanted to add a nrg quick release steering wheel & a lock that attaches to it & a kill switch would it slow them down to rob the car i have a honda civic si 00 Or what should i put?
2002 Honda Civic with uneven idle and sometimes hard to start
My Honda will at times sputter a little after starting it and either taking off in drive or reverse. It will also at times sputter when slowing down on a curve or over a speed bump. Recently a few times I have had to punch the gas when starting so it will catch. I recently had a new fuel pump installed but it is now doing the same thing it was doing before the new installation. Any ideas?
What is the octane rating for a 2001 Honda Civic LX?
I went to get a tune up the other day, oil change and tire rotation. I asked for a price and the lady said around $210 because my vehicle requires synthetic oil. I don't know much about cars but that price seemed ridiculous and I thought I was being taken for a fool. Anyway, if anybody can give me a proper estimate or confirm that this original price is accurate, that'd be great.
I mistakenly left both my front windows rolled down in my 2012 Honda Civic hybrid during a rainstorm and now the "passenger airbag off" light is on, even though nobody (and nothing) is sitting in the passenger seat. The front portion of my car got pretty wet by the time I realized it (I d guess about 20-30mins of straight heavy downpour). What gives?
