Added (1). I'm 24 working as an engineer making $70k +. I still live at home looking to get an apartment in the next couple months. I drive a 2011 honda civic and my parents want me to get a new car because recently its giving me problems.So lexus has come out with a new version of the is250 and it would cost around 40k. My dad said he would put the down payment of 20%. My monthly payments will be about $500 a month. My current expenses are around 1k a month. I have over 30k saved/invested.

Added (2). I guess my question is not if i can afford it but is it reasonable for a guy my age and income?

Projector Headlights on a new 2015 Civic?

I have a new 2015 Honda Civic with the extended warranty, I'm looking to do some upgrades to it. If I install Projector headlights will it void the warranty? What will and will not void the warranty?

Recently bought an used car from my uncle?

He was stationed in North Carolina and bought the car there (has North Carolina plates and everything), he moved to California and that s where he sold me the car. I live in California and he resided here until he was restationed to A base near Seattle, WA.

I bought his 1999 Honda Civic from him with 169,000 miles on it for $1500, I consider it a reasonable amount.

Thing is, certificate of title is in North Carolina papers and I think I need it to be registered in California right?

My question is, what steps do I do to ensure I can drive the car legally and with all it's papers (aside from my license)?
I got the certificate of title notarized already. Do I send it to North Carolina or do I send it to my DMV?

Why does my car keep overheating?

I have a 1993 Honda civic, it keeps overheating on me and every 20 min I need to put water/coolant. I just put a new radiator, thermostat, gasket and bottom radiator hose. Why is the radiator always empty and overheating?

Steering wheel Vibration?

Ok so I hit a curb with my old rims. The wheel was bent. So I decided to get 4 new rims and tires since I didn't like the old ones. After the new rims and tires were put on they were balanced perfectly and given a perfect wheel alighnment. Yet when I drive. The faster I go. The more the steering wheel vibrates. What gives? Could it be a rim or tire that isn't perfect? I bought the rims online by the way. They are remanufactured Honda OEM rims. I have a 2011 civic. The mechanic checked everything and said nothing is bent. This is driving me crazy
