Hello auto-savvy people. 2005 Honda Civic. Tried rolling down the window and it basically got stuck and didn't roll down it seemed (happened while driving, hard to remember exactly). After it never rolled down, it basically "fell" inside the door with a big clunk while driving. When I was able to look at it, it basically looks like the the thing that actually goes up and down got detached from the actual window. I managed to slip it back in place per say and roll the window back up so that it is closed, but if I try to roll it down again, the window basically stays closed but then drops with a clunk if a fly lands on it. So basically, seems detached from the window motor. Can anyone confirm or deny my hypothesis? Anyone know how much it'd cost to fix? I plan to trade my car in and buy a new car within the next 6 months, so I'm trying to determine if it's worth fixing. If it's a simple, why not.
Is there a body kit not from mugen or modulo for honda civic?
I think It's too mainstream if i use mugen or modulo for my civic bodykit.
Please answer As soon as possible…
And sorry for my bad english.
I have a 2001 honda civic Ex 1.7L. It is rapidly loosing coolant and I have no idea why. I have taken it to 3 professionally owned shops for the same reason and all three can't find anything wrong with it as far as leaks. My next best guess is that it is burning it somehow but I can't think of why. I did buy a new radiator cap and ill see how that works and there isn't any white smoke coming out of the exhaust so I don't think it is the head gasket.
I have a 1993 honda civic sedan and my engine recently went bad so I'm gonna need a new one, this guy i know has a vtec engine for 900 so i was thinking about getting it but i wanted to know what benefits come with a vtec engine.
For all the people who love Japanese cars and the drift and tuning world is easy to make a "top 50" of the best models from 1980 to 2002. Those years are pretty much the golden era of all this. At the JDM meeting we can see more older japanese cars, which is not bad at all! But now? Why aren't there no more memorable JDM cars? Why the new Honda NSX doens't look like the greatest (and older) one? Why everybody can't feel the Nissan GTR "R25" like the heir of the R34? Why it seems like only the Subaru is making good cars? Why Civic was ruined? Why there's no more new Silvia?
Why the hell today japanese sport cars are not good as the past generation?

I have a 2012 Honda Civic I bought used in May 2015 with 45 thousand miles. I have 51 thousand miles now and my brakes are stopping but I notice I really have to press my foot on the pedal to brake. I have no idea if its the original brakes either. Also no kind of brake/ warning light has come on. If I need to replace them about how much will it cost?
It is a hybrid manual. As I was driving it began to shake, vibrate non stop. If I'm at 20 or 60 it shakes. Why? My neighbor said I might have hit a pothole or something but I do not remember. What could it be?
Added (1). I went outside and tightened the nuts on it and a few where really lose. Hopefully it works.
I'd like to find a good-looking manual car that is fast enough to have fun driving for around $5000, don't want a mustang or any Honda civics. It has to be a reliable car that won't break down, It will be my daily driver car.
Before you answer that question here's a little to think about on my end. I'm 21 and my 01 Pontiac Sunfire has been amazing to me, but I'm traveling to New York to start a new life, and with that a new car. I happened to see a 2014 Honda Civic Si for 19,500$ with 13k miles on it (25,500$ is the grand total with everything I want). It has everything from the weather mats to a vinyl wrapped hood for that feel of being different. Going from 115hp on my Pontiac to a 205HP manual Honda is a dream come true! I also want low insurance and good mpg, so v6 and v8 enthusiast need not apply. I took a test drive on the highway with it and I got about 40mpg(when shifting right) and about 28-32mpg in the city which is right up my ally. My insurance they said it would be about 200 monthly and the car payments would be about 350. Is this a good deal?
