I have a 8th gen Honda civic ex, 2008 to be precise. I'm wondering if anyone has the dimensions for the battery tray and the tie down strap. If you have the dimensions for the bars that connect the two together that would be great

Just bought a used 2001 Honda Civic EX Coupe and was wondering about the Keyless Entry System?
Added (1). I got the Keyless Remote Entry System with the car but I can't program it. My local mechanic said it might be damaged from the inside, so I want to know if the car has original Keyless system?
because I don't want to spend like $30 on a new remote and then find out it doesn't even have the system.

My 1995 honda civic will not turn off once i start it?
The check engine light on my car recently went on so I went to Auto Zone so they could check it out. Turns out, the "Hydraulic Clutch" was what turned the check engine light on. On average, how much would it cost if I took it to the Honda dealer so they could fix it?

I have a honda civic 2001? Or just save up for a better car because my car does have a little over 195,000 miles but don't Hondas last for a while? Like I've heard on the radio that this guy has a honda with 400,000 miles. But I was thinking like tinted window tint tail lights new rims LED head lights new brakes maybe do little interior work? Is it worth putting money into it or should I save up for a better car
Passenger window and driver window only work intermittently, It's not a motor, track, or regulator problem…
Now recently the passenger door lock stop working, pulled the actuator out and the motor works fine off the battery, but when plugged into the harness, it doesn't work.
Now my key remote fob doesn't do anything, and the driver door lock only locks like half way with the door lock switch.
What's going on? This is a super clean car, it literally looks new inside and out. Had it for 6-7 months with no problems.
Any expertise out there?

So I'm a sophomore in college and live in a dorm. I drive a 2009 Honda civic and lately in the parking lots, ppl have been getting their license plates stolen. Well yesterday morning I came out and not only were my license plates gone but guess what else was gone? Yep my car. I almost fainted. I reported it and everything and now just waiting to hear back from the cops.
When I bought the car, it came with a back up key and I always have kepted it tucked way back behind the front license plate. I'm starting to wonder if the thief was taking off my license plate and then found the key or if they actually hot wired it. Its a 2009 so I'm not sure if hotwiring would be easy
I have an RE 2000.1 amp and a Polk audio dxi 112 subwoofer in my 1991 Honda civic lx. When I first got the subwoofer(about 6 months ago) , the bass seemed much stronger than it is now. When I try to increase the gain or bass boost, the subwoofer it begins to play a slapping kind of noise. Also it plays the bass louder at first and then kind of lowers on sustained notes.
My main question is if the amp, sub, or alternator in my car is going bad and/or how would I check this.
It was as I were were slowing at a red light. After a few minutes without my immediate notice, my foot started to release pressure on the brakes, making the car move forward slightly. It very lightly bumped the car in front of me, a silver honda civic. At that moment, the light turned green. It was a silver car, like I said, and I didn't see any damage whatsoever. The woman in the car who I hit looked at me through her mirrors. I started to see her hand go up in her car, with a rectangle looking object, her phone. She never held it out of her car, but kept it inside and sped up and raised it to take a picture, I'm guessing. We kept driving and she never gave a signal for us to pull over. My car is grayish-blue and I didn't see any marks/scratches. All I saw was on the left, slightly high left of the bumper on her car was this grayish/darkish blotch, an oval shape that wasn't in scratch form. I don't personally think this was of my damage, maybe it had already been there. I eventually turned to move into the right lane (the furthest one to the shoulder). She moved over as well but didn't signal anything. We later stopped at another light and I pulled down my window and started waving at her. She had her window down as well (I saw from her mirror) and tried to shout "Miss! Hello!" and wave. I don't know if she saw me or not. After the light she kept driving and went back to the middle lane and I tried to follow her but cars interrupted me. I don't know what's going on.
I just bought a honda civic hatchback 1995 automatic. He didn't have the pink slip but he had a bill of sale and papers from the auction he bought it from. Me and my brother checked the car and it has no major problems. Runs good no check engine light either. Anyways! I bought the car so i have the bill of sale and the papers from the auction. I was going to smog the car today but my brother said i need to registed it first. So i was wondering. What steps do i do step by step? Tags were due july but i just bought the car so i need new up to date tags. I know i need to register it, get tags, smog the car, and insure it. What other things do i need to do? And in what order. Thanks for your help. I live in california by the way.
