My check engine light won't go off; it has only 40,000 miles on it (real mileage). I also bought a new gas cap--so that isn't it. Can't find my manual either. How do I reset it, I'm thinking it is for oil maintenance but that was changed 1500 miles ago. I'm trying to avoid a trip to the dealer. It runs great and the gauges don't indicate any problems--Thank you for any help you can give me.

i have some problem not sure what happening
1 times i stop and reverse my car it does go back i have to turn off enginse and start up again pull back to R then work
another time i drive freeway speed at 70 and i press gas doesn't move up
is it something wrong with transmision or somwthing
new car just drive 600 miles so far

I need a SUV that is good on gas ( 20 mpg of more preffered) very reliable as in will last forever of at least. A very long time with little problems and won't break down often.
I know the highlander is bigger of the 3 and because of its size equals slightly less mpg.
What does both toyota and honda have for reputations? Are they reliable and good vehicles?

I need a vehicle That is reliable doesn't break down a lot of have May problems and gets decent to great gas milage.
What is toyota known for? Are these vehicles good choices for a reliable good gas milage SUV that will last years if maintained well?
Its not tripping the engine light and it normally only happens under load (going up a hill) it seems to happen between 2500 and 3200 rpm area but i haven't narrowed it down and further it really losses power when it.happens to so i don't know if its multiple or just one but you can really feel it loose power. But here what gets me the head gasget was replaced 2 years ago or so. So ill assme its not a compression issue and the coils where replaced last year also and one just very recently (this one just quite all together) so egine light was on. But I need to know other possible causes for the coils dieing out so early or if this is even a coil? Ingector? Plug? Coil wires? Throw some possible reasons for this at me.
What is a good reliable SUV out of these 4? New 2014 or newer

I drive a 2008 Honda CR-V, but I don't know how to use the headlights properly. Of course I turn them on at night, leave them off during the day, but there's and option right in between that, and that just tuns on my brake lights and any lighting inside my car. What's the best way to use these options.
New vehicle in near future and need 4 door. Prefer awd of 4x4 option, good gas milage and reliability overall
