My dad has just bought a Honda CR-V. It can tow up to 2 tonnes. We're looking to buy a horse trailer but we're not sure about whether to get a single or double trailer. Could our car tow a double trailer with 2 15hh horses in it? Or if needs be, we would get a single one as we only have 1 horse anyway, but a double one would be more suitable but we don't mind.
Hi. I currently own a 2002 honda cr-v and I'm planning to sell my car change it to 2005 nissan x-trail. My question is, is it a good car compare to honda crv?
does it have issues i should be concern about? How about the maintenance?
PS. I'm from the philippines
I was involved in an auto accident. I was driving a 08 Camry and other party was driving a Honda CRV) Please see the picture for damage to the other party's vehicle.
Two cars driving 60mph on freeway, both tried to change into middle lane at same time and struck each other. My insurance company (Allstate) has determined 50% liability and the their insurance company (I do not know what company they have) has not determined anything yet.
The other party has hired a lawyer and sued my insurance company. I have also hired a lawyer on my behalf but he did not sue them yet (and I'm growing impatient with my lawyer.)
I do not know how much they're suing for, but my Allstate agent tells me they claim their medical fee (including surgery to neck) to be about $65,000. I also sustained injuries. I've been going to chiropractor and maxed out my $10k personal injury protection plan but did not have any surgeries.
Here's the problem. I'm worried that my policy limit will not be big enough to cover the accident. See attachment for my policy.
Keeping in mind that this accident will most likely settle at 50/50 liability, and considering the damage to their CRV and considering that the other party claimed they had a $65k surgery, how much will this case likely settle at? If the full value of the accident is $100,000, will my insurance only have to pay $50,000 since I only have 50% liability? What happens if the value of the accident settles at over $100,000? Added (1). Heres my policy

I have a 2001 Honda CR-V LX with 142,000 miles on it. I just bought the car from a private party about a week ago, and when I bought it, it had a check engine light on, but it didn't seem to phase the car or its driving at all. I took it to AutoZone and had the code run and it came back a P0301, which is a cylinder misfire detected. I took it to my mechanic and they ran the diagnostic and thought it was a coil, however when they inspected the car, everything had been replaced at 140,000 miles: spark plugs, distributor, etc. And they told me that at that point, they had nothing to go on. They cleared the code and told me if the engine light came back on, to bring it back.
That was yesterday. Today, while driving on a main road, the light came back on. Solid light, same as before. Tried the gas cap, it's not the problem. Called my mechanic and they said that it could be the spark plugs.
Is there anything that I could check before taking it back for them to test? I'd like for them to test the injector, spark plugs, fuel pressure, and check for vacuum leaks. Anything I can try or may be forgetting from that list? TIA.
"For fuel efficient cars only." How is one to know if their vehicle complies with this? I drive a Honda CR-V and get over 20 mpg.
I know the recommended oil for my Mitsu is the 10W30 (The dealership's mecanic told me). It only have 14k km and soon I will need an oil change. I live in panama so the average Temp would be anywhere from 75-100+ F. I want to try a 0W-30 because the engine is way to noisy compared to my Honda CRV.
So I just bought a saturn vue 2004, I had a honda cr v 2000.
I would like to know which on is better on gas and can you give example like: $5 gas on crv = 7 on saturn vue…
My crv was squeaking bad so I had my camper bushings replaced last year and the noise stopped. Now all of the sudden it started making the same squeak over bumps again only after a year. The garage guy told me to lubercate them. Considering my car isn't low to the ground can't I just crawl under and spray the lubercant without lifting the car up?
