I have a 2008 Honda VTX 1300r and I want to polish the air fins on the motor to make it look not so dull compared to the rest of the bike. Any ideas or links to help me out? Thanks in advance guys and gals

I really want a Honda Crf 250r and was wondering whether i'm tall enough or not. I'm 5'6 and 120 pounds. I'm not to experienced of a rider. I also was looking at a yz125 I know that it is a little taller but have also heard that a crf 250r is for the experienced rider. If i'm tall enough for both which one of these bikes would suit me better considering my skill level?
I'm debating these two bikes and they are both pretty similar. Now I'm just deciding which looks better? Here is a couple of pictures of them side by side.

I'm going to get my first dirt bike soon. I'm a "whopping" 4' 9". I want to get a bike with not too much power, but not too little, and want one that usually doesn't break down. I heard that Kawasaki's are better, but don't rely on it…
So, what do you think?
My dad has decided to buy me a bike. I know nothing about bikes. In fact i'm going to learn how to drive one. He told me he'll get a Honda brand. The budget is 50000-65000. As i googled i came across CB Twister and CB Trigger. My height is 5 feet 3 inches. I ride non gear bikes perfectly.
Also heard good reviews about Yamaha. Please suggest me a bike
1) Low maintenance and good mileage
2) Style and looks
3) In my budget or a little greater
4) Comfortable for me (my height)
5) No body pain

I'm a beginner and I'm thinking about getting a bike. Please don't tell me to get a 600 or 1000 or whatever. I don't need those. I can do well with a 250. I just want to know what is better in your guys' opinion. Please explain why.
I'm looking into this 1980 honda 400 as my first bike. I'm well versed mechanically, on similar bikes and cars as well. The only real issue is that I can clearly smell gasoline on the oil dipstick. The owner stated it will most likely need new piston rings but I saw no blue smoke and minimal white smoke as the bike warmed and idled.
I'm curious as to what could cause this… The carb must be flooding over, through the cylinder etc. There's a small leak in the fuel line from the petcock. Maybe this is causing the fuel to constantly be drawn into the carb?

I have a 94 Honda Shadow VT600. For now I thought I'd learn how to clean my carburetor. I know I need a carb-kit but I'm not sure where's the best place to get one of those.
I need it to be comfortable during long drives of around 300kms. And mileage is not an issue as 60kmpl is good and both give that much mileage. So, which would you choose for long drives?
I was hoping to purchase a Fox racing V4 helmet for a honda crf250l which I'm planning on using mostly for on road communting. I'm new to motorcycles in general and could not find any useful information regarding legal use of off road helmets in Australia (NSW).
