Is a Kawasaki Ninja the best sport bike?
I'm almost 15 and 1/2 right now, and want a street bike. Since I can get my motorcycle permit soon, I'd like to start looking into a bike. I'm going take a motorcycle riding course, so I can get experience with a street bike and use it to skip the riding course when I take my permit test. I'm not going to be an idiot that rides on the highway at 90mph and do wheelies, I DESPISE that, because those guys end or ruin their (usually young) lives, and other people can be hurt or killed! I also would ride with my dad, who'd get a Honda Shadow. (It's required you have 40 hours of riding time with someone with a class M license before I can get one) (and yes, I want a sport bike instead of a cruiser. They're lighter and easier to handle.) So I would definitely take it slow, and probably not even ride on the highway, because the bike I want is too light, and it's dangerous. I want a Kawasaki Ninja 300abs. I want a 300 instead of a 250 because of the smoother clutch, and other upgrades from the 250, with not crazy power for a beginner. I've heard great things about the Ninjas, and love their features and looks, so I have only really done research on the Ninjas. I've had Honda dirtbikes for years, and loved them, so I don't really like Kawasaki over the others for the brand. So my question is are the other bikes around the 250cc size (Honda, Yamaha, & Suzuki), just as good/better than the Ninjas? And if so, which bike(s) should I also look into? (I'd also try to get a used one) Thanks!
