Should i wax and polish the scrubbed areas of my tank before installing a tank pad?

I own a Honda CBR250R that's just over a month old now, and even though I've been riding with a mesh jacket (the zipper is on top, at the collar), the tank has a few spots at the middle, towards the bottom, where the tank meets the seat. I assume this is probably due to my tendency to hug the tank while riding. The thing is, i'm installing a tank pad shortly, and i want to know if i should wax and polish these spots before i install the tank pad or will it interfere with the adhesion of the pad to the tank.

Honda CRF 80 topping out at 25mph?

Hi, I have a 2004 Honda CRF80 who's top speed is supposed to be around 50+ MPH. Well our CRF for some reason is topping out at only 25. The engine and exhaust seem like their revving to high to early and the sound is a lot higher just cruising in each gear. The bike runs just fine but I know it should be going a lot faster than it is. I would really appreciate any help that I can get.

Is this aftermarket exhaust worth the money?

After a bit of "misfortune" (stupidity) I did not double check the exhaust hanger on my 2008 CBR1000RR after installing rearsets and lost my stock slip on I70 (now flat as a pancake). I've found stock replacements for $100.00 because everyone is switching them out, but would really like this taylormade exhaust which costs $800!

I'm having trouble making the decision and justifying $700 difference. Can anyone tell me about aftermarket exhaust? If it were your bike what would you do?

Which Scooter should I get as my first ever motorbike?

I will definitely buy the Honda Activa. No I'm confused between the 3 varients available in India. The Simple Activa, The Activa i & the Activa 125cc.

My ride will be around 22kms daily through a mixture of bad & very bad roads. Also I'm a first time rider, means I will learn on this vehicle too. I'm proficient in bicycling.

Please advice.

01 honda cbr f4i electrical problem?

I really need some help on this one. So my fuel pump won't prime due to the unknow. The bike ran fine no issues except code 7, which is coolant temperature sensor. And also I got code 23, which is o2 due to me having aftermarket exhaust. Now with that said my brothers f4i fuel pump relay went out and I gave mine to test it if it'll fix the problem. It fixed his problem but when you put it in my bike the fuel pump won't prime. So we put it back on his bike and it worked! I bypassed the relay by jumping a brown/white and black/white wires. Fuel pump starts priming and I can start the bike just fine, it'll idel fine but chokes when I open full throttle. If I open throttle slowly it works fine. So far I have checked ecu by swapping mine with my bros it's works fine on his bike. I also check all of fuses they are all fine! This is pissing me off! Can someone help me where can I look into it's the weekend and I'm missing out on some awesome rides.

How to properly wire Regulator/Rectifier combo and Starter Solenoid CB750K?

I have a 73 Honda CB750K that I had originally bought as just a frame and engine. I do not have any of the stock wiring connections from the harness. I have looked for a while on the web for a step by step explanation of which wire goes where and have had some luck but all reference general connections "Going back the harness" which I do not have. I'm no wire expert so any as simple as possible explanation of the process would be much appreciated. Green wire goes to… Etc. Any tips or advice that you believe to be important that I might not be aware of would be great as well.
Thanks a lot
