Getting a title for non-running motorcycle?

I'm looking to buy a motorcycle I found, its a 1982 Honda CX500. It doesn't have a title, and currently isn't running. From what I understand, the carbs just need cleaned, as the bike does crank and has compression.

The current owner claims to have proof of purchase that can hopefully be used to get a replacement title. I'm wondering though, will they still give him a clean title since the bike isn't currently running? And if not, what will it take for me to convert whatever title they give him into a clean title after I do my engine work? We're both located in Delaware.

Also, to anyone who is going to say its not worth it buying a bike without a title, the asking price is just too good to pass up.

Old honda goldwing pros and cons?

I'm looking to buy a honda goldwing and I have a low budget which means the bike that I get will have an age between 1990-2001. Can anybody envisage any outstanding problems to watch out for? Should the mileage on the bike be more important to me than the age or vice versa?

Get away without a car in Denver?

I currently am a full time DU student who has had a car since I was 16. I just returned from study abroad and am needing to deal with my honda's blown head gasket from December. This Honda is my 3rd car since I've been 16 and I don't think I can handle another headache from craigslist. All three of my cars have been in and out of repair shops and then just broke down. I also just got my first apartment and have those bills so I won't be able to afford a car payment. I was considering getting a moped or simply a bike but I'm not sure how effective that would be. I'm working on getting a job downtown or returning to my old job near campus. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm a senior in high school and am going to college next fall. I have been looking into buying a 85 Honda Rebel for driving around town in college. I currently own a 1994 Jeep grand Cherokee but it have very low MPG. The Rebel would cost me anywhere from $1,000-$1,300. Would this be a good investment?

Should I buy a neck brace for dirt bike riding?

Alright so yes I'm a girl who rides dirt bikes. I have a Honda CRF 100 and I already have a helmet and goggles. I will not be doing MX racing, but I will be riding on MX tracks with my brother and he is an amazing rider. The jumps are high but not like SX high, but they are kind of high. I have only had a few wrecks in the last few years but none of them were really bad. I also do a lot of trail riding. I know I'm getting jersey and pants, a chest protector, MX boots, knee/shin guards, and elbow pads for Christmas. As far as how I'm going to ride should I get a neck brace? Considering they are like $300 $400 dollars. Also should I get a kidney belt? There will be no problem with getting that because they are not bad prices.

Would a 125cc 4 stroke scooter be able to keep up with a 125cc sports bike?

Long and short. How much of an advantage/disadvantage are gears when it comes to acceleration and speed.
