Best Motorcycle for a Beginner? - 2
I'm looking to get a nice, street-legal bike. Should I get the Honda CTX700? It's pretty nice.

Hi I'm 5'6 barely and I used to own a Honda crf100 trail bike. I want an RM125(Suzuki). How much faster and differences are there between these two bikes? It's probably a dumb question but I just want some opinions. I'm not ready for a 250cc. In fact I've never rode a racing bike.
They are all ~600cc. Kgs would be preferable but its easy enough to convert the weights. I can't find their engine weights anywhere.
I plan on getting a dirt bike soon, but I'm a beginner. I plan on getting a 4 stroke. Should I get a 250 or 230? Yamaha? Honda? I'm 5'7 and 135 pounds.
I was driving my Honda cbr bike when either i got hit or hit into a van. To be honest i don't remember, all i do remember is waking up to a paramedic. The van was driving on the road too, not parked. I'm 3rd party insured on mce. Fire and theft. The police impounded my bike without my permission in my opinion as i had a licence insurance everything on the bike was legitimate. I ended up in hospital after the accident. As i had a fractured leg it took me a week to get out. When i was told about my bike in the police impound by letter i was more then pissed. They charged me recovery and impound fees. Is this really allowed to happen What's happen to the police. There suppose to help people not bill them for something that was purely a accident.
I'm looking for a not too fancy, and good bike, which is good for business work and casual. I'm a bit tall, 6.2 foot, so I was looking for a bike that has good height. I'm mainly looking for Honda, Hero bikes.
Added (1). 110cc will do to.
I'm wanting to get a dual sport bike, and I have almost 0 knowledge on this subject. I just need something to go from home to college and to work and maybe on the weekends have some fun on a few trails here and there. I have never owned a dirt bike or ridden one for that matter. I'm real good with keeping up maintenance on my truck so I would have no problem changing the oil and washing and doing what ever else has to be done to keep it up and running. How long do these last if taken care of the right way? Is maintenance expensive? Is it a good long term investment? Any advise on this subject would be great. Is there another bike that you would recommend If so, why?
I have a Moto Roma 125 and a 1982 Honda xl 250. The Honda xl 250 says it weighs 130 kilograms and the Moto Roma 125 says it only weighs 115 kilograms, the things is the Moto Roma is without a shadow of doubt heavier by a good bit than the Honda. Is the book for the Moto Roma lying or something else.
