Hi, My girlfriends uncle gave us a 2000 Honda Odyssey EX last year and I have gotten a few basic fixes on it since he didn't take care of it very well.
Main things I want to talk about, and I'm not an auto expert here, the car starting making these weird creaking and squeeking noises from under and then the front tires start wobbling like crazy and then as I'm driving, the car seems to stop for a second then BAM! Go hard as if something is slipping.
The mechanics here are garbage and i have taken it to 3 so far and they say NOTHING is wrong, surprisingly they don't want money to fix i guess.
My father said it all has to do with the transmission but that doesn't explain the squeeking and the wobbling tires as i deive does it?
Oh and the milage is 180,000.
My Honda Odyssey decided to act like a jack this morning. Out of no where I start the van and it shuts right back off, quickly and instantly. My radio will remain on but I have no clock or dash lights.
I try starting it again and the same thing, starts and quickly shuts off. Head lights work but no dash or clock
What the heck is the problem? I had no issue's until now.
I recently got into a fender bender in which I rear ended a 2002 Honda Odyssey with a 2007 Honda civic. The damage isn't all too bad except that the van's right bumper that I hit is out of place and looks like it needs to be popped back in. The car I was driving has scratches and a small piece missing but no dents at all. The problem is that it is my roommate's car and she is not insured for it, it's under her mom's name. I'm taking full responsibility for it because we do not want to get anyone's insurance involved. We got a policeman involved so it was easier for me and the guy to have our information. The guy is going to a repair shop in the morning and is going to call me with all the costs of the damages and I'm going to pay for it outright in cash. I was just wondering, how much something like this is going to cost? Thank you for anyone who can give me any information at all. I'm extremely upset at myself for this and as a college student, I just hope I can get by without putting a huge dent in my tuition savings.

Engine runs rough after timing belt change on a 2001 honda odyssey?
I have a Honda Odyssey but the engine is total so I got a F23A engine but it comes with the F23Z4, so I wondering if the F23A engine can work?
I have a 98 Honda Odyssey. My brother pulled off the cat cause something was rattling when i hit the gas and dumped pieces out of it. I want to order another but for now he just put the old one back on after removing the pieces. At Honda it's 900$ I have read that If i use a non oem part the code may not go away because the computer on the van won't recognise that the problem is fixed. I've also read you can clean them but after pieces break out? What causes the pieces to break off inside? There's a website called partgeeks that says they have the right one for 170ish. What should i do? I love this van i don't want to cause further damage but i can't afford 900$. Thank you also does anyone else with this car have a jolt when taking off from slowed down speeds? Transmission has been rebuilt and checked again twice.
I bought my first car last year. It's paint was immaculate (freshly repainted). It had but one barely noticeable small door dent on the driver's side. It had not a single scratch. I live in an apartment so I have to park my car next to my neighbor. I started to notice little scratches on the driver's side (since I always park my car in reverse). Recently (2-3 months ago) I notest a door bump on the passenger side. I then examined my car thoroughly and notest all of the scratches were identical. They're small lines next/ near each other. There's atleast 12 in total and a total of 4 door hits. I 100% know it's her because at the store I ALWAYS park AWAY from other cars. I even take up two spots sometimes so no one will park next to me. I try to park as far away from my fat neighbor's car but she still manages to hit me. Should I get an estimate from an auto body shop and tell her to pay me for the damages? Or should I wait for her to do it again and confront her or record her? Please help. I actually care about my car unlike her. I always baby it and clean it. Me, my bro and my dad just recently painted the rims ourselves (factory color.) Her car is a big green Honda Odyssey and mine is a blue Hyundai Tiburon GT V6. Thanks! FYI I'm moving soon so I don't mind putting equal or worse dents and scratches on her car.
How much would it cost per year to own and drive a Honda Odyssey 20 miles a day in NYC?
