I have a 2002 Honda Civic and need to change the steering wheel to another stock one because the brackets in mine are destroyed, I can't find one in my area and was wondering if a odyssey steering wheel from the same year would fit, and if the airbag from my Civic will line up with an odyssey wheel, so that i don't need to go buy an airbag
Our 2005 Odyssey has recently been having issues when making a sharp turn (U-turn, 90 degree turns, etc.). The yellow exclamation point and the VSA warning light turn on and the van can't shift gears and as I bring it to a stop it shakes and shudders. When I turn the van off and restart it a few seconds later, the problem is fixed (until the next sharp turn), leading me to believe it may be a computer issue and not a transmission issue. It seems not to happen when taking a slower, wider turn when possible. Anyone had this happen to them? Any suggestions on who best to take it to - dealer, Sears, or independent mechanic?
We currently drive a Honda Odyssey- 2012, top of the line (Touring Elite). We like it, but we're bored. The Odyssey drives like the whale it is, it has a noisy cabin, it can be seen in every driveway in the neighborhood… But it is, overall, a great car.
All the same, we've been looking at a Mercedes R-Class. It's also a 2012, with just 23,000 miles. We like the features and handling after a test-drive, but there are a few hang-ups I'm hoping to have clarified.
1) Obviously, the Mercedes will be more expensive to repair… But just how much more expensive?
2) In terms of reliability, who wins: Honda or Mercedes?
3) In terms or resale value, who wins: Honda or Mercedes? (Worth noting the R-Class is no longer available new- which could have an effect either way.)
I have a Honda odyssey and the engine bolt is broken. How do I fix this?
I'm in my 30s and I'm still trying to get my driver's license. I took 4 hours of driving instruction a couple of months ago, but he told me that I would need to purchase more hours since he thinks, even though, I've improved, I could take 4 more hours and use the company vehicle. I was thinking about just taking 8 hours since he may change his mind how many hours he said I needed and just take the on-the-road test once the last 90 minutes.
Now, my dad has a Honda Odyssey that I have been doing a little bit of driving, but he doesn't want to add me to his insurance because since I'm a new driver his rates will increase. So I have no other choice, but to take more driving lessons and use the company car or rent a vehicle.
Now, he's telling me he'll check and see how much his rates will increase, but I told him that I would pay the difference, but I don't believe he's going to add me since he changes his mind a lot. He doesn't want me to pay to take the driving course, but at the same time doesn't want to add me because even if I take the driving course, I'll just be restricted to driving fleet vehicles until I can get my own insurance.
Needs about $800 in axle repairs, will need timing belt soon when it hits 90K, otherwise in good condition. Gets about 17 mpg in city.
Dealer offered 13K trade in against Avalon Hybrid. Repair vs replace?
