Is it okay to be ungrateful sometimes because you don't want to owe someone back later on?

I don't want to sound selfish or anything but, I recently finished school and found a well paying job at a law firm. I have ti pay off 3 years worth of student loans.

So my dad comes in and tells me "I will pay for half of your loans", and I told him that I don't want him or my mom paying any of it because they may ask me to do something for them in the future and when I don't want to do it then they are going to be like "well I helped you pay for…".

And also recently went to a Chevy dealership to inquire about getting a car. My dad said to get a Honda so he can help put a down payment on it. I said I wanted a Chevy. Then he tells me "You're going to regret getting that car. I'm not putting a down payment on an American car". Thing is, I never asked him once to do anything.

Stuff like this has been going over for like 10 years in my family. They want me to live with the same values as them, why? Am I not my own person?

I never told them this, but sometimes I just wish I was never born. When I was a kid and teen they always scolded me for not doing things their way like going to Church, not going out to certain concerts etc…

Is it time to move out? Or should I wait until I have enough money?

PS: When I move out I probably won't tell them at all.

How can I make my female lead in my story as beloved as Talim from Soul Calibur?

My female lead in my story is a sweet, kind hearted and gentle girl who's like a dove, she values love and peace who would rather not fight but if she has no choice, she will fight with everything she s got. I've noticed in most animes the nice girls are regarded as annoying and weak with the exception of Talim from Soul Calibur, or Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket or Euphemia from Code Geass. How can I make my female lead as loved as those female characters, because I want to send more kindness to the world with this character.

What do I do if I used the wrong transmission fluid?

My friends mom bought fluid for a Honda, but I drive a Hyundai. The gears are shifting hard and the check engine light came on and it's because of the transmission oil temperature sensor. But how do I fix that besides the sensor? I've probably driven no more than 30 miles on the wrong fluid. Is there a way that can be fixed? Will I be able to drain it and replace the filter and use the right fluid? Because I have a feeling that that's why it's shifting hard. Although at first it was because I was low on fluid. But I don't know what to do. I don't want my car to have permanent damage to it.

How would the element do against the new sprinter?

The car I have is a 2003 element 4 speed. Auto ex awd model.
The mercdes sprinter s a 2016 model with the 2.1 twin turbo diesel.

Reason I'm coming this is my friends dad took me for a on one of these vans for a ride when I didn't have my credit at thaat the and I was surprised by how torquey it was of the line. It gets up to speed effortlessly for it's size and considering it's only the BASE model. I myself have a 2003 Honda Element which has 161 ft lbs of torque whereas this van has a whopping 265 ft lbs torque for a small displacement engine!

Is this van as quick as my element (of the line)?
How does it handle on the highyway compared to my car?
Could it keep up with the element in handling and acceleration?

Can I trade in my car if I'm upside down on my loan?

Okay. So I have a 2015 Honda and I'm trying to trade it in for an older van. I owe 13,556 on my Honda (got it only 4 months ago) and its trade in value is around 10,000 or so.
The van I'm trying to purchase is 6900. So is it possible to transfer the remaining 3556 from my Honda loan to the loan for the van? If so, how can I do that?

Should a buy a new car or lease?

If you are a teenager and you want to get a car and you had a choice to buy a 90's honda vehicle or a newer car but you would have to lease it and pay a monthly fee hoping you make enough to pay it off monthly which would you choose. I want to buy a car so I could feel good and call it my own, if I lease it though I won't have to worry too much about damages and maintanence etc but I don't always make a consistent amount om money monthly to pay it off and I'm technically feel like I'm borrowing it. I can say that my first car was a such and such if I leased it.
