Is it worth buying a used Chevy Volt with over 100K miles on it?

The price is right, but is it worth it?
I know I would have to install a power charging station which is an additional 1000 dollars.
There's one for sale at 14,500 dollars… But most used Volts are around 23,000 dollars.

My other two considerations are a new 2015 Honda Fit or a used Mark 6 VW Golf TDI

I've seen people on youtube who average 120 mpg with the volt! One guy's was even 1000 mpg, I don't think he even brought it to the gas station since he bought the car!

Will any honda civic cap fit my 1996 model?

I stupidly left my petrol cap on top of my car and then it fell off and got run over on the way home. I'm looking for a new one but the market is baffling me. Is there a one size fits all for civics? Or do I need a specific one for my car?

Will a Honda head unit fit in a Mitsubishi?

I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant. I recently purchased a Pioneer aftermarket head unit off of Amazon (1 DIN) and all the installation kits that I see at Pepboys, Autozone, etc are all for cars of makes with Honda/Acura, General Motors, etc.

Will a Honda (same year) single DIN installation kit fit in my 03 galant? Or do I have to get a specific fitment for my car?

Honda Fit 2015 or used VW Golf TDI?

I'm looking for a new, sporty, economical small car, and I've come down to either a used Volkswagen Golf TDI or waiting for a new Honda Fit.

Why I'm interested in the Golf TDI:
diesel - which means high mpg and horsepower
cheaper if bought used with worn-in engine
capable of towing, say a teardrop trailer
luxury interior

Reservations on the Golf TDI:
smaller storage capacity than the Fit
less passenger space, especially in the rear seat

Why I'm interested in the Honda Fit 2015:
great storage capacity
better mpg than current generation Fit
nice standard equipment

Reservations on the Fit:
brand new means expensive (but about the same as a used VW TDI)
can it tow a teardrop trailer?

Which one should I go for?

New car dealer vs buying at drivetime for subprime?

Please read my situation before responding. I'm not asking if my loan will be approved or not.

I'm going to be looking for a subprime auto loan to rebuild my credit. I intend to make the best decision I can with my situation, if I have options. The car I want at drivetime is selling for $12,300 (09 honda fit sport). Surprisingly, The car actually books not too far under their price. I have $4500 (36%) to put down, and with my calculations, I can easily afford the payment at 17% interest for 3.5 years. (My Girlfriend got that rate and term at drivetime, and we have similar credit). So actually buying this car would make sense in my situation for affordability, and rebuilding my credit.

I have heard that some new car dealers offer sub prime loans too, but do they do them on used cars? Would there be any advantage to buy the same used car from the honda dealer over drivetime as it pertains to the subprime financing offered? Perhaps someone who has sold used cars at a new car dealer would be best to chime in.

Bought a new car and newer version is coming out?

In February I bought a 2013 Honda Fit with navigation brand NEW. Now the 2015 is coming out and obviously I owe more than what my car is worth because of the warranty i also purchased with it. I was wondering if anyone has ever had this happen or think possibly the dealer will let me trade my car in for an equal value of the newer car?

Cost to install subwoofer?

Let's say I want to have a professional install a 10-inch subwoofer and amp in my Honda Fit.

How much will this cost approximately?
