How to fix a fuel filter?

So I have a 1985 Honda Elite 80 CH80 scooter. I have been going through and replacing everything. About a week ago, I went online to a trusted site and bought a new fuel filter for it. The filter said that it was a universal part for the specific 1985 Honda Elite 80 CH80 scooter. It just arrived, and doesn't fit into the tube/hose. It is a 1/4 filter, and I can't find anything smaller.

It did say that the filter was a universal part for the exact model of scooter. Is there anything that I can do to make it fit even though it's too big (that would be safe to do of course? Or do I have to find something smaller and buy that?

Any suggestions would help!

HID bulbs won't fit in projector lens? Modify the projectors?

I'm planning to buy an HID conversion kit soon. Before I add the hid's, I want to house projectors in 1998 Honda Accord EX headlights. However most projectors I've found accept h1, h4, or h7 bulbs. I know the bulbs for the Accord are 9006/hb4 and are angled 90 degrees as opposed to the previous bulbs mentioned before. I'm guessing the hb4 bulbs will not be compatible with the projectors I'm looking at, right? What can I do? Should I modify the projectors to accept hb4 bulbs?

Should they let me help pay for a car?

I just turned 15, but where I live, you get your permit a 15 and six months later, your license. We've already been looking at cars, though, because my mom wants to get a spare car for our house in case my brother's truck or her car breaks down. We've saved for a while, and my original limit was $2,000. My uncle told us last night he'd sell me his 2008 Honda Fit for $4,000. It has low miles and all around good, taken care of car. But, that means we'll have to pull from other savings AND get a loan. I made it clear last night that as soon as I get my full license and a job, I will be paying back how ever much we have to go over budget. My mom got mad because she said it's for all of us and I'm not allowed to pay her back for it. But making my mom pull from various places to pay for it makes me feel like a spoiled brat (we've kind of struggled finacially until lately). She said the only thing I'll be paying for is insurance and gas. Should she let me help pay for it?

I'm from Canada and I want to work in the Bahamas in Winter 2014/2015. What should I do first?

I'm a 24 year old male living in Canada. As you know our winters are quite bizarre and I've been pondering the thought of moving to the Bahamas to work for a winter season. Perhaps in hotel management or whatever you think is best fit for my area of expertise. I'm currently a 4 year veteran car salesperson at my local Honda dealership.

I'd imagine I would need to resign my current position to leave, which means when I come back to Canada I won't be able to simply come back.

Tough choice, but I want some change in my life!

What color Honda Fit should I lease?

The car colors which I like most:
1.white
2.light blue
3.dark blue
4.black
5.red

Background:
I'm going to start driving very soon. I'm not someone who wants to stand out to much but I don't want to blend in either. I want a color thats nice and whatever one looks best on the car.

What honda engine would be the easiest to swap over in a 95 del sol?

I just bought a 95 honda del sol si with a d17 motor in it. I wanted it a fun little stick shift car to mess around with/ daily driver, but even with that its a pretty weak motor not even pushing 100 hp. I'm making this into a little project but i'm not trying to make a dragster or to put 15 grand into it, so definitely not an H23 and what not. Maybe around 5 grand. I just want something stronger than the lawn mower engine i have now. I also want to make it an easy transition. Honda has a lot of different engines and iterations of those engines.

so please let me know which one would fit best and give a good bang for the buck, maybe a B16 or B18 series.
