Okay, really stupid question, but I just got a new 2013 Honda Fit. Went to Wal Mart to pick out some cleaning products. Now, apparently there are different types of rim coatings and therefore you need different types of rim wash so its not to negatively effect each coat (metallic, chrome, etc.)
The trim level is a Honda Fit Sport… I think it says "alloy" rims… What kind of wash do I use for that?
I understand it sounds stupid but I don't want to get the wrong kind and ruin them.
I'm looking to buy my first car and gas mileage is important to me, but so is reliability. I'm debating between a 2009 Honda Fit with 61k miles and a 2006 Prius with 69k miles or a 2007 Prius with 80k miles. I will probably be using this vehicle for the next 3 - 4 years.
I need to replace a leaking AC condenser in my Honda Fit. The dealer quoted me a ton so I'm taking it to an AC repair shop. However, the repair shop doesn't use parts from the original manufacturer. The owner told me that the aftermarket condenser has the same specifications though. My concern is that the dealer warned me about aftermarket parts because the pressures involved could mess up other parts. Should it be okay as long as the specifications are the same?
I wish to put on a set of alloys onto my 2004 Honda s2000, and i've narrowed the choise down to 2 sets. However, i found 1 set under the section of the website for my model of s2000, so i know they will fit, but the second set were not under the s2000 section.
They're 19" BBS CH Black, have an offset between 20 and 50, and have a width of 8J or 8.5J. I really don't want to buy a set and find that they don't fit, as they cost just over $1500.
Cheers
I noticed that although being the same model, 2009 Japanese Honda Fit cars differ slightly.
I learned that this is due to the various grades.
Can anyone tell me what are the various grades of this particular model?
Or where can I look up?
I just got a new 2013 Honda Civic 4 door. I want to put an audio system in that will make my car "bump" while I'm driving. I don't know what subs/amps I should buy at an affordable price that will be compatible and fit in my car. Also, do I have to buy new speakers also? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
I'm trying to replace 14" 2001 Civic wheels with 15" Honda Accord 93 wheels
I have a 1999 Honda accord ex V6 sedan.
has stock 15 inch wheels, but will have 17 inch 2006 Acura TL wheels on it soon
this will raise my ride height, so instead of spending 1000$ on coilovers, I was wondering if the struts of a 1997 Prelude would fit my car. Any suggestions as to if this might work? Any feedback will be appreciated.
Hi, I'm 16 and have a 96 Honda civic coupe 2 door. I like the look of the 99-2000 civic tail lights, which has the clear white bottom half as where the 96-98 has an amber bottom half. I was wondering if I could buy 99-2000 tail lights and fit them onto my 96 civic. Please help, will it fit? Because I know the 99-2000 front end are different from the 96-98 front end, so it makes me uneasy about the tail lights.
