MOTORCYCLES: Is automatic worth a try? (Harley owner)?

So I've heard recently about automatic bikes being released from Honda. I'd heard of semi-automatics, but never this.
I own an 85 H-D FXRS 1340 low glide that my dad passed on to me 4 years ago. I've been riding legally for 3 years, but grew up around them.
I feel comfortable with changing gears, but sometimes it gets tiring; I'm just curious if maybe I could get an automatic for riding around short distances for ease?
Any opinions or facts about these automatic motorcycles? Advice?

Motorcycle 1980 Honda CB 750 battery problem?

Motorcycle 1980 Honda CB 750 battery problem?!

Added (1). I bought a 1980 Honda CB 750 motorcycle and the battery died. I put another motorcycle battery, but it died as well. I used my car battery after that, but it also died. It is not the battery. I checked the alternator brushes and they look long enough. What could it be?

What is a good Beginner Motorcycle for a female?

I turn 16 in two days, and my dad suggested I go for my M (motorcycle license) instead of my G (car) first, because it speeds up the process. So instead of spending (let's say, for example) 2 years, it will take me 1 year to acquire my licence. Also, I can speed up the amount of time I spend in Level 2, instead of spending 6 months, I could reduce it by 4 months if I take a Motorcycle Safety Training Program (I read this on the Ontario Motorcycle Driver's Handbook).

Anyways, I'm about 5'1" or 5'2" and weigh about 115 pounds. So, as you can see I'm pretty short. I need a bike that I can rest my feet or at least one foot on the ground, and I know I have to try it out for myself but I can't yet.

I was looking at the Honda CBR125R or the CBR300R. I was trying to find some smaller cc bikes (such as 125, 250, etc.) in Yamaha, but I'm having a bit of trouble on the site as I don't know the site too well.
What size/cc would you suggest I get, and I'd prefer a bike that's under $5000 since I'm paying for half of it (my dad said he'd match what I pay, so if I pay $1000, he'll match it, giving me $2000) and insurance is pretty high for a beginner, especially a teenager. I'm fully aware of any risks I'd be taking riding a motorcycle.

This is the Honda CBR125R:

I apologize for the long question, but I just wanted to clarify everything. All suggestions are appreciated! Thank you.

What is a Comfortable motorcycle for both rider and passenger?

Got a v star 650, and the passenger seat is… Well not very pleasant most passengers after about 30 minutes complain, after an hr the person after hitting a bump said stop the bike and hopped off for a break. ( Suspension is good but bumps still hit you ) so a comfy stock seat is a must
For me i get a lot of neck / upper back pain while riding, not sure if thats maybe fixable by windscreen if anyone has experience please share! Also I want to put it keep it towards the kawasaki, suzuki, yamaha, or honda bikes as I'm a college student not with a lot of money will buy used, preferably more powerful since i do a lot of 2 up riding usually 50+ miles

Added (1). also would be preferable if the bike flickable ( does not have to be crazy like a sport bike ) as do live in the city and when not directly on the highway want to be able to swerve efficiently

My bike keeps bogging down at full throttle?

2004 Honda cbr 600rr 41k miles. I was on the highway after work and there were no car so I decided to hit top speed 155. Full throttle it got up to 120 and felt like it was bogging down. When i rolled off the throttle a little it started pulling and got up to 130 then i gave it full throttle again and it started bogging down and losing speed. Its an older bike and i don't really have the money to take it to the shop. Any ideas?

What kind of dirt bike should I get? - 2

I'm a 21 year old guy. 6'2". 165 lbs. I have a honda 150, kawasaki 110 and a couple mini bikes, but I want a real adult dirt bike. I have a decent mechanical background and I like learning about bikes but I'm new to them. I acquired all of the formentioned toys in the past year. A guy on craigslist in my area is selling a 2003 Yamaha TTR225 for 900. I was thinkng about that but I would like some opinions. Would there be something better for me?

Is a Honda cbr600 a good beginners bike?

I'm 13 years old, and i'm saving up for one. I rode my brothers pit bike on the highest gear possible, while going very fast and going through slippery sand. I was comfortable on it. I feel that a 250cc or a 300cc motorbike is too small. I like the looks and how fast the cbr600rr goes. What do you think of it?

Is this 2004 Honda Shadow Spirit a good deal?

So this is my first bike purchase and I want some opinions before I go for it. The bike I'm interested in has been dropped on both sides, needs front brakes, a rear tire, oil change, and turn signals. It is going for $2000 and has 23K miles on it. It also has a Cobra exhaust system that the owner says is worth $450.
