1982 cm250 slipping gears, and not getting the right speed out of each gear?

I have a 1982 honda cm250 bike. I recently had the motor rebuilt with new shift forks, etc. I got the bike back and it's doing this issue ( the same issue as when I took it into the shop). I was told that these are common issues with that year motor. I'm having a hard time believing this, as people say it is a great beginner bike.

Is a Honda Shadow VLX Deluxe a good beginners bike?

Looking at a 2005 Shadow VLX Deluxe 600cc for my first bike. I'm 6' 1'' 190lbs. Just don't want to go too small and have to upgrade to soon, but don't want to die either. Don't need anything with crazy power or speed, just getting around town and some cruising.

I want a good beginner sports bike?

Ok so i'm 15 and i would like to buy a good sports bike by the end of this summer(yes i know i'm young) but anyways i was looking at a honda 250 and a ninja 250 or 300, i would use the bike as something to ride around town on weekends, not a constant vehicle, so are those good beginner bikes? Which is the best and is there others that are better?

Which motorcycle do you think I should go with, ninja 600 or cbr500?

I currently have an 09 ninja 250. I've had the bike for about a year and I've put quite a few miles on it. I took it to NH, rode from MA to TN and all through the mountains. I love the bike, it just doesn't have the power I want on the highway. I've been wanting to get a new motorcycle, the 250 is gonna be my girlfriend's first bike. Right now someone is working on a 94 ninja 600, which is mine if I want it, but he has had to do a ton of work to it. Today another friend said he wants to unload his 2013 Honda CBR500. I've been told that I would be disappointed with anything smaller than a 600. I ride for about 40 minutes on the highway to and then from work, would a 500 be good for that? My 250 revs very very high doing about 70mph. I also do a lot of around town and back roads riding, which I'm very happy with the 250's performance. The 94 ninja 600, which is supposedly the fast version, is going for $1500, and it has a lot of miles. I know the guy fixing up the bike very well and I trust his work. The 2013 cbr500 has 3100 miles, still under warranty, and is going for $4100. I just don't want to be disappointed like I was told. I would just like some feedback, anyone who has ridden either or both of these bikes, how was it? What do you think is the better option?

What bikes can i ride with my class A2 License?

So i'm going to be doing my test in the summer, i know the test has to be done on a bike with a minimum of something like 400 cc's

The government website says the bike can be

Category A2 medium-sized motorbikes

These are motorbikes, with or without a sidecar not exceeding:

35kW power output
0.2kW/kg power to weight ratio
Category A2 motorbikes can't be derived from a vehicle of more than double its power.

Now i'm not sure what size engine a 35kW power output is. Because in the lower class you can only ride 125's and in the upper class you can ride any bike. Class A2 is somewhere in the middle but i was wondering what sized bike is like the maximum you could get, in terms of cc's.

Any examples would be useful like the Honda NC700x or the KTM Duke 690
