Driving to Cali from AZ good idea with my car?

Is it good to take a Honda Pilot 07 400 miles and back from Az to Cali if it has 119,000 miles on it, patched tire, 9 month battery and alternator, fresh oil change, and timing belt? I'm scared it won't make it

How would a Mazda 3 do in a high speed chase against a Honda Pilot?

The cars I'm comparing are a 2006 Mazda 3 I touring sedan 5 speed manual vs a 2016 Honda Pilot awd.

Hypothetically speaking, say a Mazda 3 driver was driving recklessly through traffic. As he is weaving brought traffic, he almost causes an accident to another driver in a Honda Pilot. The minute the Mazda 3 driver crosses the line, this enrages the Honda driver to chase the Mazda 3 driver. My question is if the Mazda 3 was in good condition, how would it do against an SUV like a Honda Pilot? Could it outrun it assuming both drivers are skilled? I mean mazdas are KNOWN for having VERY GOOD handling vehicles.

Car experts say avoid 4 cylinder cars due to lack of power. Agree or disagree?

I'm debating between Honda CR-V and Pilot. CR-V gets great gas mileage but only has a 4 cylinder 184hp engine which seems under-powered for such a large car. Pilot has V6 280hp engine but much worse MPG.

Currently I own a 4 cylinder car and I get what they are saying. The lack of power especially while merging on the freeway and climbing hills always makes me nervous and even scared sometimes when a semi is right on my bumper. But before that I had a V6 SUV which had a lot of power but only got 17mpg while my current car gets 50mpg.

So which should I choose… CR-V or Pilot?
