2017 Honda Civic Sedan LX or EX?

First time car buyer. Deciding between the LX or EX, I plan to own the car for at least 10 years.

The price difference between the two trims is only $1,600 to $2,000, so it seems like a no-brainer to get the EX, but the tipping point for me is that the EX has more electronic components and potentially more problems than the LX. Which should I get?

LX Pros:
Less electronic components (no lane watch camera, no keyless entry, no electronic key fob, and no push start) which I think means less problems and less expensive repairs as the car ages.

LX Cons:
No 60/40 split rear seats (it's all or nothing when it comes to folding down the back seats)
Steel wheels with cheap caps.

Ex Pros:
Latest technology: keyless entry, push button start, moon roof, lane watch camera, 60/40 split rear seats, alloy wheels, 7 inch touch screen (yes I know a lot of people hate the lack of volume button, doesn't bother me)

EX cons:
Keyless entry, push button start, lane watch camera, 7 inch touch screen - with so many electronic components there's a higher likelihood of problems and expensive repairs over the life of the car.

Also considering getting Honda Sensing on either model I decide on which adds to the potential problems and repair expense. Should I get it

Honda civic 2015 won't start

I have a Honda civic 2015, it's fairly new. My battery completely died, and when I tried to jumpstart as usual (I've had ongoing battery isues for a while now) it did not start. At first I thought they were cables, so I tried another set of cables, when I connected the lines, sparks were produced and I could see smoke where the plastic lining on the clasps were melting. When I tried to take it off, it was extremely hot to to touch. This was really weird to me, this never happens. I connected them correctly, so I tried two other cables, same thing. I ended up changing my car battery, thinking my battery simply died. The car still won't start after changing the battery, and no lights come on when I try to start the car. It's completely dead. No response from pushing the start button. Did I short a circuit or is this a bigger issue than I originally thought?

Is this too many miles for a hybrid?

I have a 2008 honda civic hybrid, with 320k miles on it with the original engine, transmission, and battery, my friend told me most hybrid batteries don't even last 150k miles and that i should sell mine before something goes wrong, is he right?

Why does my car temperature rise when I idle but when i drive it, it's goes back to normal?

So I started noticing this problem 2 days ago. I thought I fixed it by refilling the coolant. It was working fine till today again. When I stop on a cross street or I idle, the temperature slowly rises up to the "H" but once I accelerate or move the car, it slowly goes back to normal. My A.c works perfectly either way. What could be the problem? How much would it cost? It's a 2005 Honda civic ex.
