Where is the exhaust and intake on a honda motor in a car, specifically a civic
Ok so I drive a five speed 2002 Honda Civic lx. I was driving it one day and I couldn t get over 20 mph without the rpms shooting yo way high. So I pulled over and opened the hood and there was this little rubber housing, smaller than an apple. That had smoke coming from it and it smelled burnt and bad. There's some sort of metal part in the rubber housing but I'm not a car guy so i don't know what it is. Anyway, its lower to the ground and closer to the front, and it's across from this fan that s behind the front bumper. I can't for the life of me figure out what's wrong. There aren t any noises when I drive, I just have to feather the gas in a low gear or my rpms shoot up like crazy. I can't even drive it anymore. I jammed my finger in the rubber housing and it came out smelling like it did when o pulled over and there was smoke, and my finger was all black.
My brother left his car here for about more than 5 years and it's just been pursued eating sun for some time. I need a car and I was thinking of putting some money in and fixing the baby. The tires are blown out, new seats and carpet I think is needed, it also needs the new stick that goes in the middle, radio, etc. I'm not big on cars but how much would it cost to restore it?
2001 honda civic lx. Do headlite bulbs dim over time?
What are the symptoms of a damaged flex pipe on a Honda Civic? Please be as descriptive as possible
No CEL. Always cranks. Starts sometimes. If it starts and I turn it off, it will always start up if I try right away. However, if I wait a few minutes after turning off, it will not start for a few hours.
Anyway, when the car doesn't start, fuel gets to the line that leads into the fuel injector rail, but not to the engine.
Could all the fuel injectors decide not to work at the same time?
Could there be something wrong with the fuel rail?
Is there something else that could cause this?
Someone had asked to keep a car on my property for 4 hours. It's been about 6 weeks. They were evicted from there home so they have no living quarters which is why they asked to leave it at my home. The car has no plates, no title, and does not run. It can be fixed for a small cost. It's a 4 door compact 2002 Honda Civic.
