What is a good beginner motorcycle?
I'm 5'7, never drove a manual, so I'm going to take the msf course. I just wanted to ask if you consider a Honda cbr500r as a good beginner bike, because I'm going to be driving in the freeway, thanks in advance

My 2001 Honda CR250R 2-stroke motorcycle is leaking black tar-like oil out of the exhaust pipe. I have not payed much mind to it and its been happening for a while now. It not a constant leak but it will leak it out sometimes and my rear rim is filled with the black oil.
Is the side fairing of the CBR600RR models produced from 2009 to 2012 removable? I'm about to buy a used one and I really like the way the 2007-2008 fairings look like, but I'd prefer a new model so I was wondering if I can get a 2010 or 2011 and just remove that part.
Looking to buy a 81 cb750 or around that time frame want to know if I could put a fuel injected motor in it without having to chop and weld alot of stuff, is it possible? Any idea what motors would work best?
I'm a 5'2 girl, my last dirt bike did me well until it was stolen. It was a 2stroke 94' Yamaha 100 never did any maintenance on it just gas and oil and it worked great the last 4 years.
I'm looking to spend about a grand on another 100. As I live in the desert and just use it for some trail riding and camping.
So far I have narrowed it down to a 03' Honda XR100 - 4 stroke, good condition, worn tires, no extras
or a 03' Suzuki RM100 - 2stroke, good condition, new tires, skid plate, desert tank, DP heavy duty clutch
Neither have been raced both are in good condition.
With minimal dirt bike knowledge (repair/ maintenance exc.) and mostly trail riding which would be best for me?
*If something goes wrong or needs fixing I just drop it off at the local repair shop
I'm 16, I lost dirt bikes and I love going fast too and I like offroad and everything about riding dirtbikes. I'd love to get into motocross. Only thing is, I'm poor so I can't buy anymore dirtbikes or upgrade my parts and I can't get hired, my whole dirtbike is only stock and its a 2009 Honda CRF100f. Its really not that fast but its still fun to ride and I'd like to move up too. But I'd love to do some racing and get into it and get sponsored. I talk to a kid in my art class who said he was sponsored by Honda, and he owns like over 5 dirtbikes he's shown me.
What would i have to do to get into motocross racing? I live in Florida by the way…
I was just getting my motorbike out of its pen when I noticed that I needed more force to move the bike at different moments, and the front wheel seemed to make a noise as it stiffened, like a quietish squeal. I gave it a low speed test and I can still feel the front wheel stiffening whilst on the move.
Thing is, I haven't used it for a week and I found a set of earphones on my bike seat (it's in a little pen, uncovered).
Is it something serious or am I just franking out for no reason at all? I'm not sure if it's just lack of use, something going on with the wheel or diskbrake or if I'm just worring for no reason at all. I don't want to push it to speed without knowing.
Added (1). It also occurs when the bike is stationary and I physically turn the wheel.
I do tend to be quite noticeable about any difference so it could just be me overthinking things.
Added (2). The bike is a Honda CBF125
I've been looking into getting one. I also looked up the rules for scooters/mopeds in Florida, but it was a little confusing and I think the scooter I want surpassed some of the maximum requirements for being classified as a scooter/moped.
I'm in 9th grade now and saving up to buy a sport bike at the beginning of senior year my budget will be $3,000. I'm looking at a honda cbr250r and kawasaki ninja 250r any other ideas you give i will look into all help is appreciated. Also not looking for speed since 70mph is the fastest you can legally go in America. Also what is the best time in the year to buy a sports bike form a dealer ship and privet dealer
Or a similar dual sport motorcycle for comparison…
I was told he is performing a top end overhaul (replacing all gaskets and rings on piston, cleaning everything, installing a battery, replacing compression release cable, replacing cylinder head, draining all oil/replacing). He indicated a previous owner put goop on the engine that he had to take off and it needed a lot of cleaning.
Is this everything that entails a "top end overhaul?"
Parts supposedly cost $150, what should I pay for labor?
Added (1). I should've clarified- Its not a certified honda shop, but it's a retired honda mechanic who still has his honda certificate. He works as a mechanic out of his house (small scale). Not sure the 7 hour rule would still apply? I'd LOVE to learn how to fix this bike! I'm so new to all of this and it's my first motorcycle. I'm even still learning how to ride it. Where can I learn to fix these old bikes? But, anyway, assuming he is a "local mechanic" would you think 350 labor is OK "top end overhaul"?
