Honda CR-Z gets 37 miles per gallon on average. How much carbon dioxide would be emitted if the Honda were driven 400 miles? - 1
So I'm between two cars, and looking to find one that fits my lifestyle and will make me happier and more comfortable in the day-to-day.
What to know about me.
23 y/o (almost 24) male in final years of college, working as a server at a restaurant chain to make ends meet. 6'7" tall 220 pounds (so pretty thin). Married to a wonderful lady who I won't have kids with for at least 5-10 years. Going to be going on a couple road trips in the next few months/years. Accidentally wrecked my 2011 Honda CRZ hybrid 6 months ago and looking to move on.
Stylistically I appreciate both cars, the juke and challenger, I like unusual cars. Both are roughly $10k which is what I intend to spend in cash, money isn't the issue it's just about finding which is the better car. I'm not looking for other options. It's just between the two. Wife wants me to get the Juke, I also kind of really want the juke. But the challenger is within my range and is a nicer car, more comfortable, cushier. Wife says she'd be okay with a challenger if I really wanted it, because it is my money, but I'm definitely on the fence.
My dad doesn't want to get me a car other than a honda or toyota, MAYBE a subaru.
I've got around 5k, so a wrx is out of the picture unless i get lucky and find one.
But 2008 BMW's are all around for 5k. AWD, v6, stick shift, are these bmw's actually reliable or what? Why are so many people against buying used bmw's?
I got in a car accident today and my 2009 Honda Element EX (which I love more than most of my immediate family) took some damage. Neither car was moving faster than 10 mph. The road was wet, and i skidded through a stop sign. The other car did not have a stop sign, breaked, and hit me right on the driver side front wheel. I was able to get my car over to the shoulder, but it made a terrible noise.
There was no obvious damage to my car, but a closer look revealed that the driver side front wheel was sitting at an angle. I looked closer and saw that the wheel was pretty much leaning against the breaks. Attached are some picture. The car was moved off the street and will arrive at a body shop on monday.
Will just do synthetic oil changes every 15,000 miles + oil filter and air filter every 30,000 miles. No other services.
Will my Honda last that long without any problems?
OK, so I drive a Honda, and I'm using my tire gauge to measure the pressure of my tires. PSI, I think. Two of them measure about 44PSI, but the other two measure about 20PSI. I have tried it many times, and two measure 44PSI but the different two still gauge 20PSI. So, I brought my car to my mechanic. My mechanic told me, "We tested them, and they all have sufficient PSI." But now, my tire gauge still says 20PSI. I brought it to my mechanic again, and he says they're all fine. What should I do?
Is it allowed? How much is it going to cost?
