But now I want the 2014 kia optima i currently owe 18.290 won't finish paying it till nov/2018 which is long time don't want to wait can i trade it in for new car? How does it work? Even the smallest bumps send my car it to a rattle snake it seems like. Metal on metal rattle for sure. Power rack seems intact. What could this be and where should I begin to look?

But i don't know what year cars it works on, is a 2000 to old? Or does it work for any car? And i have a check engine light on will that have any affect on it because my car runs fine.

I'm looking at and choosing between a 2003 Honda Civic 2 door coupe with 150k, and a 2002 Toyota Celica with 169k. I know most people would go for the Civic, but I don't want to end up as one of those people who loses their car due to an easy break in. So please, should I invest in the Civic or move on to getting something else.
