My airbag on my 2012 Honda Civic goes off and on every 5 seconds?

If I turn on the car with someone sitting in the passenger seat my car alerts me every 5 seconds that the airbag is off then on then off then on for the duration of my drive. It is really annoying because it beeps while its doing this. However if I turn on the car wait 30 seconds and then someone sits inside this problem doesn't happen. What can I do to fix it? I took it to Honda and they can't seem to find the problem. They changed all the sensors already.

*I was in a car accident prior to this. Airbags never come out

Black stuff on my bumper around muffler?

I have a 1998 honda civic dx, we just rebuilt the motor, my car has lack of power which I considering it the distributor because as I'm picking up speed it cuts out power like it's not getting enough spark to about 3000rpms then picks up instantly. Do you have any suggestions? Am I wrong about the lack of power and it cutting out about I being my distributor? And what could cause the black stuff on my bumper around my exhaust

Calling all expereinced car Enthusiasts for

I'm an employed 16 year old driver with a '93 1500 Crew Cab off road z71 Chevy(now that you have read that I would just like to inform you that I'm not an ignorant teen, I'm responisible with driving and have never come close to an accident in my truck, I always make good decisions and educate my self thoroughly before making those decisions.) I'm willing to sell this truck for a car that is a joy to drive and can keep me busy and happy for awhile( don't plan on getting rid of it until I get out of college and probably longer down the road.) To help narrow down your recommendations I have a few specifications. I want it to, preferably, be a coupe, manual transmission, good looking, can be tuned to a degree where I can make it feel like MY car( know what I mean?), I can take it to a race track every once in awhile for fun, is under 10,000 and this is not a must but if it has traction control that would be amazing! Although with my limited knowledge of cars, which hopefully will expand as I get more into cars, I have no idea where to start! Thats where I need your help, Do you guys have any suggestions for me or recommendations for me? I browsed Craigslist earlier and found two cars that interest me, one was a 2006 maybe 2007 Honda civic Si and the other was a 2001 BMW 330ci. How ever I have heard that people loathe civics, could someone explain this to me? Thank you in advance for helping me! Hopefully this will spring a life long interest in cars!

Added (1). Don't know how the question was unclear but I will clarify. What cars do you guys recommend that are a coupe, manual transmission, good looking, can be tuned to a degree where I can make it feel like MY car( know what I mean?), I can take it to a race track every once in awhile for fun, is under 10,000 and this is not a must but if it has traction control that would be amazing!

1996 Honda civic has 220,000 miles. Should I get it?

Neighbor wanted $ 1500 but needs cash fast, so he's currently at $ 1000. It's a daily commute for him, drives it every day. I'm going to test drive her tomorrow and have my mechanic uncle check it out, give me a diagnostic. I'm just asking, is it even worth wasting my time? Do these things last? How reliable are these things past 200,000 miles? Any additional info will help, thanks!

Can I separate a 2000 Honda Civic EX exhaust manifold from its catalytic converter?

Just learned that I have a crack in the exhaust manifold of my 2000 Honda Civic EX. I could buy a new manifold with a attached catalytic converter for about $170 but could get a used manifold for $12. I would rather save myself the $100+ by just replacing the manifold. So my question is would I be able to separate the exhaust manifold from the catalytic converter, and switch in a functional but used one?
