2003 Honda Civic stalling issue?

What is causing my engine to stall?

My car has been stalling, and I can't drive it reliably for more than a few blocks before it stalls. Afterwards, it doesn't start right away but will typically start if I wait a little while. I took it to firestone and they told me I need a new cat, O2 sensors, ignition coils and spark plugs. Go figure, they wanted a large sum of money to replace these things. They told me the catalytic converter is completely shot, but didn't comment on the other stuff.

I tested the resistance on all four of the ignition coils and they were all the same; i take this to mean they are okay. (couldnt find the spec on them though).

Could the spark plugs be causing this issue? Wiring to the coils? Is it worth buying a new catalytic converter? I don't care about emissions quite yet, just want to be able to drive it.

It has the check engine light on (codes were generic like VTEC problem, emissions problem or something).

Any comments on likelihood of cause and recommended course of action would be appreciated.

94 Honda civic won't start?

Bought this car, swapped it from a bad d16b6 to a good d16z6, replaced the starter, battery, spark plugs/wires, and the distributor. But the car still won't start. It cranks, but won't fire up. Need this car running as soon as possible please help.

Why won't my car won't start after putting in gas?

I have a 2007 civic, 80,000 miles, about a year old battery. Yesterday after I filled up the gas tank my car wouldn't start. Waited about 1 minute and it started fine. This had happened about 4 months ago (I had it checked at Honda) and they said it was okay. But today I went a short distance (15 minutes from home left the car for about 5) and my car didn't want to start. What could it be?

I Want To Assemble A Model Car. But?

One of my wish in life is to assemble a model car. Cutting the parts out, assembling them together and completing them.

I say that but… I've never successfully assembled one before. I've had two attempt - A McLaren SLR and a NA2 NSX-R(Early model without facelift.).

Both of which were never completed as they ended up broken or destroyed by me because I tend to glue the parts at stupid places. I just honestly think I'm not so good with my hands. Currently there's model for sale online that catches my attention, an EK9 Civic Type R model made by a company called "Fujimi", reason being that I grew up with Hondas at an early part of childhood… But that doesn't matter.

Should I… Should I give it a shot for my third attempt? I mean… I don't want to end up wasting my money and failing.

Is my right rear wheel bearing bad?

I have a 2001 Honda civic coupe LX. I was driving yesterday when my right rest tire started making a clicking/clacking noise while driving. As soon as the car starts to move, the noise starts. I researched and I found that it could be my wheel bearing. I jacked the car up, and spun the tire and it made the exact same noise as it did yesterday. Is that the wheel bearing causing the noise?

Where is the interior fuse box on a 2012 Dodge Avenger?

I had a 2012 Honda Civic before and hooked up interior LED's. It was easy because the fuse box was right under the driver's dashboard. I could add any accessories to those fuses. But now that I got a new 2012 Dodge Avenger SXT, the only fuse box I can find is under the hood! What about inside the car? Where can I get power or where are wires I can tap into? I was thinking in tapping into the cigarette lighter from the back of it, but I have no idea on how to take apart the center console.

Are bigger cars harder to drive?

My dad found this really good deal on a pre-owned Volkswagen Tiguan S. I've been practicing with a BMW 328i and Honda Civic since I've started driving. I'm just worried about not being able to see the road and problems like that. Or parking badly. Can you guys share some of your experiences about switching from a compact car to a mini-suv like the Tiguan or the differences in them! Thanks! My parents also said that a bigger, roomier car is safer to drive. Is that true?

Added (1). Also, (not related to the question haha) any tips on buying a pre-owned car? This is our first time buying an used car so we don't know what to do to buy a car with little problems and such.
