Civic 97 EX Keyless Need Reprograming?

I swapped the engine for a newer one and now keyless disabled. Engine swapped was exactly the same and was just dropped in. No need to rewire, replace harness or add/delete connections.
I understand that the brain for this keyless is in the OEM radio which I can't find anymore. Do you need absolutely OEM radio or there's another way? Don't want to find an old 97 EX radio just to reprogram the keyless.

The keyless worked for more than "six years" with an aftermarket Sony radio. For six years there was no OEM radio left connected in the car and it worked fine with ONLY the Sony radio. Furthermore I have disconnected that battery for many other service jobs and it was all fine. From the engine swap I understand the radio lost all memories but it should not be able to "brain" the keyless since it is a Sony.
Logical reasoning conclusion is to deduct that there's another "Brain" since the Sony could not have for all the years.
Worse comes to worse, I will find an OEM 97 EX radio but I know for a fact the Keyless worked fine for six years without the old Honda radio still connected and hidden somewhere in the car.

Anyone? Anyone?
Thank you for any "Input" in this logical mystery. Really any input. The fix is easy with the old radio but my brain does not function that way.

My honda overheats above 65 mph?

So, I bought this car a week ago. It was sitting in a garage for about a year. It has 135k on a rebuilt motor. It has the d15b1 motor. It's a 1989 civic ef hatchback. Question being; whenever I'm on the highway or going up a hill, even I my car doesn't have allt of weight and I go to pass, the motor goes hot. Would this sound like a thermostat? I'm running water in it right now.

Freaking speed bump screwed up my car?

So i drove into my neighborhood last night and completely bottomed out going over some new speed bump that they just put in that wasn't even labeled. The posted speed limit is a ridiculous 15 mph but no sane person would go that speed since the road is completely flat and straight (or used to be), so 40 is much more appropriate. I drive a honda civic that i put a lot of money into upgrading and this completely smushed my brand new muffler. I'm not even sure what other damage may have been caused because it hit very hard. Who can i get to pay for this because i'm sure not?

My 2009 honda civic lx sedan won't start or turn on?

I just brought a 2009 honda civic lx from my neighbor and I like the car now it needs a fee repairs so I can't drive it just yet but when I went to start it up and listen to the radio it wouldn't turn on or start… What could be the problem?

Should I get a coupe or sedan?

This will be my third car. I'm 21 (I get bored with cars easily). My first was a 4 door hatchback (02 Focus), my second was a 4 door mid sized sedan (09 Avenger) (can't wait to get rid of it!). I'm looking at my first new car to purchase though and I can't decide if I want a coupe or sedan. It's a Honda Civic. I'm thinking if I buy it I'm definitely getting one with a sunroof and keeping it for more than 2 years. Right now I'm single, no kids, and don't have many friends. When my old high school friends are in town they usually pile in my car but that's about the most action my back seat has. I was also thinking that if I'm keeping this car it's possible for me to meet someone and have kids in the length I want to keep the car. One thing for sure is I'm paying the car loan off so that could be 6 years and a lot can change.

Should I get a coupe or sedan?

A car for around 3000? Will it last for a year without any problems? What to look for? Brand model?

I'm an intern in US and I'm going to stay here for a year. I found out that it is very difficult to get around without a car. I would like to buy a car for the year. My main goal is frugal, and reliable. I don't care if it has manual transmission and is without AC. I just care that it will work, and even if it would break down, the spare parts would be cheap. So I was thinking about Toyota Camry or Honda Civic. Any suggestions?

Should I trade my 2013 Honda Civic EX with a 2011 Mercedes C300?

I have a 2013 Honda Civic Ex with only 6000 KM on it.
I bought it brand new for around $24000.
but now I regret not following my heart and not buying the Mercedes C300.
Would you trade in your new 2013 Honda with a used 2010/2011 Mercedes C300 with around 50,000 KM on it?

Why and why not?
