Why was I accused of smuggling illegal immigrants?

I was stopped by the Border Patrol at an Immigration Checkpoint in South Texas. After I answered all of the Border Patrol agents questions, he asked me to open my trunk. I did as the agent instructed. The agent looked in my trunk, which was empty (I driving up to San Antonio to sell trade it in for a new car). He did not find anything of interest, but as soon as he finished searching my trunk he began screaming that he believed that I was hiding illegal aliens in a hidden compartment somewhere in my car. The only reason that he gave was that the he saw some dried grass in my trunk. The car I was driving was a 2010 Honda Civic Sedan.

What I want to know is, would it even be possible to even create a secret compartment in a Honda Civic large enough to hide a person? Why was I accused of smuggling illegal immigrants

Is it time to place high tariffs on foreign cars and cost prohibitive surtaxes on people who buy them?

This is ridiculous. More than half the population in the United States drives a foreign car, contributing to years of declining auto manufacturing jobs.

And all for no gain.

Any concerns about certain American cars being of subpar quality have been rectified, those days are long behind us. There are multiple American cars that are best in class in multiple categories, most rank high in ALL categories.

These days, they are just as well made as foreign cars, and nearly all of them are priced lower than their comparable foreign counterparts.

And you can get an American car in any type and style you want.

Sedans of all sizes, crossovers, SUVs, Trucks, coupes, convertibles, sports cars, mini-vans, full size passenger vans: You name it, there are about a dozen American choices in each class.

There's no feature you can get on a foreign car that you can't get on an American car.

Simply put, foreign car buyers, you are out of excuses.

Honda, Nissan, Toyota, these are all great cars. And they can continue to be great cars for JAPAN.

But We're not Japan. We're Americans with our own economy to look out for. A Chevrolet Malibu is just as well mechanically as Civic, Camry or Altima.

So stop freaking shooting our economy in the foot. I swear to GOD IF I were a cop I'd be giving a speeding ticket to every last foreign car driver going 1 mile over the speed limit I come across.

Insurance companies should be given massive tax breaks if they refuse to insure foreign cars.

My truck won't start? ( jumpstarted while car was on)?

Ok so last night i was just arriving home and this mom with her kids needed a jumpstart. Long story short when i tried to jumpstart i realized my car was still on smh i got distracted by the lady talking to me and her kids yelling, when I connected the positive it sparked and boom my truck turned off. I quickly removed all cables and turned the key to the off position. Now when i tried to turn it on the lights on the dash, radio and a/c still work like normal but the truck itself won't turn on sometimes the lights ac radio etc work but then the power cuts off. I tried to jump start my truck with a honda civic and while it was connected, the dash radio and ac work but won't jumpstart. Also before i tried to jumpstart the ladys car my truck was having battery problems before. So will replacing the battery work? Could it be a blown fuse? I drive a 2003 V6 Regular cab Silverado
