1996 Honda civic starts, won't crank?

1996 Honda civic starts, won't crank? - 1

Added (1). My 1996 civic starts but the engine won't crank. I replace the coil in the distributor, replaced every spark plug, and the cables. Sometimes it cranks up regularly, other times it hesitates for minutes before finally cranking. As I turn the key over the motor will jump as it is trying to crank. I do believe I have a blown head gasket if that may be a problem. Car drives fine other than that

Any ideas on what could be wrong with my car? - 1

I own a 2008 Honda Civic. When I returned home after driving around for a while I turned my car off but once outside of the car it sounded as though it was still running. I tried turning my car on and turning it back off, but the sound continued. I left it thinking it would be okay. The next night I tried turning my car on it is completely dead. Any help on what it could be?

How much could i sell my civic for?

My civic is pretty much dead. The head gasket and radiator are blown. The ecm is suspected to be bad at the moment. It still turns on and drives but only for about a minute or two before the temperature gauge shoots to the ceiling. Other than the mechanical issues the body is in excellent condition since i just got it repainted less than a year ago. A couple very minor small dings. No rust. New tires. The interior is in excellent condition. Its an LX with all power options functioning. Cloth seats are clean. Automatic tranny (i know i hated it too) and other than an aftermarket radio the car is completely stock. Oh and we just had all the airbags replaced by honda because of the recall. How much do you think i could sell it for? Its a 2003 lx sedan.

Added (1). also it has little over 180k on the odometer

How much would my insurance go up?

Ok so my old car just broke down. The radiator is ******. The air compressor will not work even though we just put a new one in it (guy said it might be the ecm) and the head gasket blew. So i'm in the market for a new car. I saw this really nice 2005 mustang, the base v6 version, with relatively low miles. Around 150k. I was just wondering how much my insurance might go up if i switched to that car. I'm insured with geico, i drove a honda civic and i have a wreckless driving by speed under my belt. Which was reduced to 19 over by the judge. I currently pay 170 a month. Any thoughts?

How much faster will my 0-60 time be if I remove the engine from my Honda Civic?

I have a 1992 Hatchback and I have the stock engine in it with a cold air intake and a fake blowoff valve and I wanna do some weight reduction by removing the engine. I need to know how much faster I can get it so I can beat Mustangs in the quarter mile more easily than usual. Thinking about removing the chassis when I get more experience.

1998 Honda civic CX (Auto swapped to manual) P2E L32 ECU light weight flywheel. P0500 P1298 Check Engine Code?

Got engine codes

P0500 speed sensor
P1298 Electric Load Defector

I have a new speed sensor coming in the mail.

I pulled the backup fuse under the hood and replaced it to reset the engine light and it hasn't been on again. Still no speedometer but the the speed sensor which well be fixed.

I don't notcie any voltage drop while drive. Car at idle is 14.5v.

I was suggested to inspect the wires behind the intake, but when I looked at the speed sensor their was alot of corrosion. Would corrosion of caused the p1298 code? When the senor faild?

Please help. I have been driving without problem almost stalles abit when in neutral.
