Honda accord jerks when accelerating?

I have a 1996 Honda accord LX with 4 cylinder and every time i accelerate it jerks. I changed the spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor. I thought that would fix it but it still does it. Should i replace the spark plug wire and fuel filter and see if that's what is causing it to jerk when it accelerates. Any suggestions?

I slightly rear ended someone's car today

So i was waiting at a red light to make a left turn and there was a car in front of me. We were both at a full stop. I lifted my foot off the break too soon and my car slowly rolled and hit the car in front. We pulled into a plaza near by and observed what happened. I had zero damage on my car. But my car left a mark on his car in the shape of the nut that's screwed into my licence plate. Neither of us had any injuries. He observed his car thoroughly and we ended up exchanging information (insurance, licences, phone numbers) and i took a picture of the damage to his car. I know I'm completely at fault here. But he later came up to me and asked if we couldn't go through insurance and we'd handle this without involving our insurance companies. I agreed because I feel as if the damage is very minimal and I don't want to risk increasing my insurance rate. So I was just wondering what would be a reasonable amount for him to demand for the damage to his car. He drives a 1999 Honda Accord. The pictures of his car are shown below:I slightly rear ended someone s car today Help

My '96 Honda Accord won't start. Could it be an electrical problem?

So the other day me and my brother got the car started. Everything was fine. We figured out it needed a new battery. My brother was the one hooking up the jumper cables and when he went to pull them off of his car he dropped them on the WET grass and then my car died. It wouldn't turn on AT ALL. I think it may be a shortage somewhere or maybe something got blown out? I need outside help. I wanna have an idea of what's wrong before I take it to the mechanic. Any advice is very much appreciated

Wheels and tires dilemma, Accord V6 EX-L?

I recently purchased a '10 Honda Accord EX-L V6 Manual. Winter is quickly approaching and i want to know my best options, being that the winter here in Pittsburgh last year was a total nightmare.

the car came with 19" wheels, meaning the tires are 245/40-19. Tires for them are quite pricey (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSearchResults.jsp?autoYear=2010&autoMake=Honda&autoModel=Accord+Coupe&autoModClar=EX-L+V6&sortCode=57375&width=245%2F&ratio=40&diameter=19&minSpeedRating=H) but i feel i can manage to afford them. The problem lies with winter. Would it be worth putting out the extra money for 17" steel wheels and mounting snow tires on them, or would this car do fine with 19" wheels and all-seasons?

i've never had a manual transmission with this much torque, nor have i had a car with 19" wheels, so i'm a bit paranoid about it. With the way this car whips around, i could easily see it being problematic if not driven carefully.

2008 Honda Accord windshield wiper speed adjustment not working?

Recently my 2008 Honda accord's windshield wiper speed nob dial thingy (the thing with the rain drop looking things) stopped adjusting the speed of the wipers. The wiper motor fuses are okay and the wipers work fine but the speed won't adjust. Any ideas on what is wrong?

Did i make a mistake by buying a brand new car at age 18?

Ok I have $50,430.23 in cash I already own a 2014 Honda Accord Coupe and pay $327.46 a month for it. Don't get me wrong I'm very good with money and on how to spend it but I'm now questioning my self on this purchase, i'm trying to save for a house to move in to in a couple of years after college I live on long island in the Hamptons so nothing is cheap a one bedroom house is $300,000 lol. But now i'm thinking that maybe I should of got a leased car or a pre-owned car also my insurance is about $3000 for the year. I'm a manager at McDonalds and make about $15,000 a year

over all question am I on the right track?
