Found a great deal on an 04 Honda civic. Hearing nightmares about this generation s automatic transmissions. 01 seems to be the worst year. Does anyone have any experience with these cars that can give me some advice? Car has 132k miles. Transmission is in great shape now.
The Honda civic has over 75,000 mileage and the Toyota has over 130,000 mileage.
Is the honda civic 2018 ext turbo charged fast or no?
I took my '12 honda civic in for an oil change. They put in 5w-20 instead of 0w-20. Will my car be ok?
So I'm driving with someone else from Dallas to Denver. I own a 2012 Chevy Silverado. The gas mileage on my truck is absolutely terrible even worse than stock from the stuff done to it. It would be very comfortable to drive my truck up there because of all the space and the nice interior.
But I'm buying another car for work to go there and back to save gas. So I'm wondering if I should use that car. It would most likely be a 1993 Honda Civic.
So, should I just take my truck and save up more money for gas, or should I take another car. If I do take another car, should it be the Honda Civic, or should I start looking at other years/cars
I have a 2007 Honda civic & a 2012 nissan altima both payed for by myself. I have $2k saved up my goal is to have atleast $8k saved up before I graduate in June. I'm just seeing if this seems pretty solid in contrast to other people in my position or if I'm behind.
I drive a honda civic 08 with an engine code on it right now (p0776) for a solenoid B that's stuck off. It is an automatic transmission. It won't go into 2nd gear when I put it in drive, it just slips and refuses to drive anymore. I have only driven it twice since that has happened, but have recently discovered a method to get it to go so I can move it
If I put the car in 1 on the shifter, let it get up to 20 miles per hour, then shift it to D3, it skips second gear, goes straight to 3 and I can put it back in drive and drive normally until the solenoid comes in the mail to replace the bad one. There's not jerking and not weird noises, it transitions smoothly. But I do fear I may put damage on the transmission and I want to avoid that until the part comes in. Do you guys think this is a wise idea or am I making the situation worse?
They tried to charge me an extra $70 on top of what i had already paid to have them tell me what's wrong with it "diagnostic". If it matters, its a honda civic 90
Battery was hooked up backwards to my 2008 honda civic. Now no power at all?
