My dad bought me a fully paid off Honda Accord sedan and has the title and everything. I've already obtained my license and my mom has no problem putting the car under her insurance and getting the car tag for it, but she doesn't want the title in her name. I turn 18 next month but i refuse to wait that long. I was wondering was it possible to have a car title signed and owned by me at the age of 17.
I have an 04 Honda accord 5 speed with 75K miles. Recently was giving me some shifting issues. It started giving me problems going into gears and would take a couple tries. Then one day it would not go into any gear at all, would take maybe 5 minutes to shift into a gear and would probably hear a slight grind. So this shop tell me its my "hydrolics" and that they replaced them and the cars working. I know the "hydrolics" consists of master and slave cylinder but i'm not sure what else. So about 2 weeks after i'm driving then i push the clutch down just to hear a bang and see the peddle on the floor. So i take it to another shop and i get the clutch replaced with an exedy oem kit and my short shifter installed, also the master cylinder the previous shop put it had already went bad so I replaced that as well. So the work is done and i'm driving the car, i put about 700 miles on the new clutch and everything else. Then i go to my car this morning and it won't go into any gear again! Any suggestions?!
Right out of the carwash my car began to show some electrical/transmission problems. After driving for about 10 minutes the D (drive) light begins to blink and the car seems to have a hard time switching gears. It takes longer for it to go from 1st to 2nd and so on, and om top of it, it doesn't go on 4th gear at all. NOTE: Right Out of the Carwash!
This is my first car I'm gonna buy and this car is really good shape the only thing cons it has is that the speed sensor doesn't work and the radio button is broken other then that is very clean no rust. So should I buy?
I bought a new Honda Accord Hybrid and one of the information panels shows a car in a green circle with 2 white lines on both sides of the car. What is this panel telling me? I've checked the owner's manual, and it doesn't explain the feature.
I'm in college right now and work full time. I nearly commute 70 Miles daily when I go to work and school but 40 when I only work. I'm currently driving a car my dad gave me for my birthday but I don't like depending on him giving me stuff, eventually I would have to give the car back. I don't want a beater car because lordy I saw my sister and brother go through that and they invested too much money in their cars. So I'm wondering should I get a new car like a 2016\17\18 Honda Civic, 2018 Honda Accord, or something newer but used like a 2014 Mazda 3, 2015 Nissan Maxima. Note I'm not into small compact cars nor coupes. I don't like American cars nor Toyota. I droved a corolla before that was bad.

I noticed that I have a whining sound when I turn my car on and it is really noticeable when I turn the steering wheel. I looked up some other solutions and some people say that the power steering O-ring could be the issue and some say just to change the power steering pump. I'm kind of lost right now. I did notice a slight smell of burning burning fluid but I haven't seen any leaks. Any help is great help… Thanks
